The new edition of Tempus magazine is available now. For this year's wealth issue, we delve into the changing face of capitalism, with our expert contributors suggesting that the new trend of conscious capitalism – where the impact of investment is as important as the returns – is here to stay, and marks a shift in how HNWs are thinking about finances.
Elsewhere, we check out the Michelin-starred chefs tackling sustainable produce from the top, Julius Baer CEO David Durlacher shares his Brexit predictions in our Leader's Column, and we head to Las Vegas to get to grips with the Virtuoso forecast on luxury travel.
Not only is our annual wealth edition one of the hallmarks of Tempus' catalogue – in 2018 we introduced our Women in Wealth issue and have dived into investment trends and other financial zeitgeists – but this issue is an especially exciting for me for see in the flesh, as it marks my first issue in the Editor's chair.
I was asked to step into the hot seat as Acting Editor following the departure of our editor Rachel who, along with our art director Ross Forbes and head of events Georgia Peck, had led Tempus' transformative rebrand when I joined the magazine in 2017. With big shoes to fill, it was an exciting challenge, and a truly collaborative effort from our incredible team and expert contributors.
Entering any new role is nerve-wracking. I'm so grateful, therefore, for the encouragement and confidence that I received from Team Tempus, my friends and colleagues in the industry. I'm excited to see how we can continue to grow the magazine in the future but, for now, I'm really proud of this issue and hope our readers enjoy it!
